Shubhman Gill, the Indian opener, rose an astounding 45 spots to take the 38th spot in the ICC ODI rankings, which were revealed on Wednesday. The 22-year-old rookie had an outstanding performance in the recently finished three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, scoring his first century (130 off 97 balls) in the last match in Harare.
